Autumn is already here, let’s bring up the candles and prepare the pumpkins for the spooky season! But what’s even more spooky is the speed at which Codyfight is preparing for the cold season. The departments are working hard and developing results. Let’s check out what this month has been all about.
Marketing updates
September was quite eventful for the marketing team as Codyfight held plenty of activities and actively collaborated with partners.
We teamed up with MooniesNFT for a discussion on NFTs and enjoyed a great chit-chat about projects in the crypto space. The audience also joined in for the talk and had the opportunity to win 200$ worth of NFTs. Giving back to the community, while also having fun!
But that was not our only Twitter Space, we also led an initiative in the web3 and organized a discussion for women in GameFi, where girls from popular projects like MagicCraft, Gala Games, and Lossless participated and told their stories and the challenges they encountered in the industry as well as in their roles.
The community also partook in Codyfight’s weekly naming competition, and 6 new Codyfighters were called upon the audience’s suggestions. The game is not only shaping up because of the team, but also thanks to our community and their decisions. Codyfight cares about your input and therefore we will keep providing fun activities and ways to participate in the development of the game.
In addition, our CEO Andrius Jaškauskas, participated in CryptoMondays, a conference held in Vilnius (Lithuania) for different enterprises in the web3 space, where we had the chance to talk about our project as well as engage in conversations with other start-ups. These endeavors are not only a great way to raise awareness of the magic behind Codyfight but also very valuable to meet other enterprises with the same values on AI, creativity, and innovation. Andrius greatly represented Codyfight, you can check out his discussion here.
The Codyfight team also attended the Game Developer Meetup in Vilnius where fresh visions on the gaming market were shared and we had the chance to broaden our horizons and enrich ourselves with the discussion from different experts in the game industry.
In terms of milestones, this month we had great growth in our community and welcomed new Earthlings on Twitter reaching 65.536 followers. Now they will also have the chance to catch up on all our activities as well as find out more about our mission. A great way to do so is to visit our news section on the website, where this month we published some behind-the-scenes content as well as the shift that Codyfight is taking on AI.
This change of narrative is not very visible yet, but we have started incorporating more AI tools into our team, and Instagram is now the home to great AI art as well as other content related to the Codyfight universe. We are also improving communication on other social media channels like Twitter, as well as providing valuable information about our vision and goals.
Development updates
The folks in the development department also had a pretty busy month. From a new widget to the automatization of skins in-game, their productivity is increasing and especially focusing on the future of Codyfight’s gameplay experience.
The team worked on adapting the Widget to a new updated version, where the Alpha will take place. This step is crucial to have a balanced and dynamic game, free of flaws and especially ready to be played.
Also, we launched a metagame balance project, where our game designer is working hand in hand with the developers to achieve a high-quality game where everything is connected and works smoothly, so gamers can truly immerse themselves in the game’s metaverse.
September was also a month of great collaboration between other departments and developers. They worked with our UI/UX designer in refining and implementing player dashboards. We can’t wait to show you how everything is coming along in the inner pages!
In addition, the team also teamed up with the creative folks to work in animation frameworks as well as in the automatization of skin balance, which we have completed.
And last but not least, our developers spent some time on the hunt for bugs and caught some of the major ones. The game is shaping nicely and soon will be flawless and ready to be played by the public. We know you are excited, but good things take time and we are sure that the wait will be worth it.
Creative department:
Our creative peers also did a great job during this month on Codyfight’s visuals and collaborated with other departments to increase the awareness of the game as well as spend some time learning and creating concepts with new AI tools.
One of the key tasks for the department was upgrading and expanding our first NFT collection. The designs are being refined and our favorite in-game characters are getting some new looks to amaze the audience.
Also, the creative and marketing department teamed up to create engaging events that will take place very soon at our TGE event, as well as helped to come up with different ideas and visuals for our lore and social media.
And last but not least, the department is also having a shift with the new AI tools and optimizing their work. Not only is it helping to work more effectively, but also with concepts and creativity, so Codyfight is stepping into a new era of innovation and more uniqueness in its visuals.
Stay tuned for our progress in all of our socials!
