Currently, the Play-to-Earn (P2E) market is rapidly expanding after the success of titles like Axie Infinity and Decentraland. It is at the forefront of this booming sector that Codyfight stands. Furthermore, our game even boasts a unique position on the market, as it is both free-to-play and play-to-earn.

How the Play-to-Earn system works in Codyfight

To understand how Codyfight makes it possible and easy for you to earn profits, you should first be familiar with our competitive Arena. The first thing you have to know is that you have to stake some $CTOK tokens as a fee to enter battle since it is, after all, a competitive game mode. Then, when you defeat your opponents, you win a portion of both your and your opponent’s stakes.

To explain this more clearly, suppose that the stake you and your opponent have to pay is X. This means that the total amount the winner could receive is 2X. However, the amount you actually get from winning is based on your competitive rank.

There are 11 ranks, and only the highest rank gets the total 2X amount. Lower ranks will receive lesser amounts — for example, the 10th rank receives 90% of 2X, or 1.8X. Your rank is constantly updated based on recent performance, so you will always be matched with someone of the same skill level.

It will be easier for you to rank up when you start playing, but things will get harder and harder as you climb further up the ladder. In return, you have the chance to earn more rewards from battles!

You must also be curious what happens to the rest of the tokens: a winner at the 10th rank only gets 1.8X — where’s the remaining 0.2X? We will introduce our Free-to-Play (F2P) mechanics to answer this question.

Anyone could earn with Codyfight’s F2P system

Here’s your answer: the remaining 0.2X in the situation above is deposited into the community pool. This pool is dedicated to rewarding F2P players when they complete specific tasks in the game, such as capturing the Legendary Llama.

We believe that our game should be accessible to anyone, so we even provide free NFTs to support new players. There is no extra cost to enter the game. As a result, more and more players will start to play Codyfight, and the community pool will grow exponentially larger, creating more rewards for F2P players.

Of course, if you pay the fee to enter ranked battles and win, you can win much more fantastic prizes — close to twice the stake you spent.

Our game has another unique feature: we enable artists to earn. If you’re not a gamer, you can create artwork that serves as NFT Skins for Codyfight robots. Artists can submit these Skins to our Community Skin Shop; once approved, you will start earning when you make a sale. A percentage of this sale will go to the community as well.

In summary:

To wrap things up, our game is unique because we distribute profits and rewards back into the community, even for F2P players. The community pool has dual income streams: one from a portion of ranked arena fees, the other from a part of NFT Skin sales. This means that you will profit by simply participating in our game and completing specific tasks that award $CTOK tokens, but you will earn much more if you pay a fee to enter and win ranked battles.
