In the traditional marketplace, we have always been conducting businesses by buying and selling goods with each other. The process of creating wealth stems from the creation of worldly objects, and when our possession exceeds the bare necessity, people may start to sell them for profit.
This supply and demand model has existed since ancient times, and it is not an exception that modern marketplace would follow the same path. Over time, this model stays true to its name, and the only things that are constantly changing are the market, the people, the products, and the communication or transaction method.
The marketplace from the future
It is the 21st century, and we are ready to welcome an innovation that takes place in the traditional marketplace — non-fungible tokens (NFTs). NFTs will completely transform the perception of digital ownership, as the public usually sees digital files as something intangible, unreal, and has no inherent value.
Fundamentally, NFTs allow you to buy and sell ownership of unique digital items and keep track of who owns them using the blockchain. This transparency makes NFTs a go-to choice for any projects, including video games, since it gives people genuine recognition for their work.

In Codyfight’s marketplace, every NFT Skin or AI bot is tradeable so that players can give away, sell, purchase, or exchange them with the community. Also, to make the game more beginner-friendly, especially for those with little to no programming knowledge, Codyfight provides a place to buy AI bots (essential to activate a robot) from the community developers.

NFT Skin trading
The most popular product you will see everywhere is robot chassis (NFT Skin). As explained in the Codyfight article05, these robot chassis are the mainframe of your robots, granting them physical appearance, partial physical protection, and a certain energy level that can be depleted.
Thanks to their usefulness, they are frequently in high demand, and luckily, the marketplace has all sorts of NFT Skins. And with the increased demand comes many different suppliers, including us (Codyfight designer team), professional artists, or possibly, even you in the future.
Artificial-Intelligence (AI) bots trading
In a sense, AI bots will be your robot’s primary operating system, capable of making decisions and adapting to the tide of battles. Not every AI bot will be the same, though, as different programmers with varying coding prowess might have created them for various purposes.
Currently, we are considering the AI bots trading scheme somewhat in the grey area: Codyfight does not explicitly support the selling and purchasing of the Robot controlling programming code but understands the possibilities for such a need to arise. To decrease the risks, we might implement the AI bot trading directly on the platform.
It is worth knowing that, by purchasing the bot, the player is fully responsible for its deployment and performance.

You can purchase CTickets to enter the Arena (the place where the majority of exciting “action” takes place). You can also buy CKeys on top of your existing one to activate even more robots (or make a robot army at your disposal, waging wars while you are asleep)

We cannot wait to see the talent that lies within our future Codyfight artist community. Essentially, everyone can contribute to the game arts, meaning that everyone can create and sell their NFT assets on the Community NFT Skin shop.

Making money the smart way
Cutting-edge algorithm takes the lead
Unlike the traditional marketplace, where the algorithm favors paid content (e.g., Facebook Marketplace), Codyfight uses an advanced algorithm to decide which skins to put on display for a limited (or continuous) period.
Codyfight Marketplace will become a progressive environment that inspires creativity and provide greater value for the community-made NFT Skins. In particular, the algorithm will analyze the following data: Skin rarity, Skin demand within the community, Skin price, and Special events.
Passive income for artists
Community artists can easily earn passive income by listing their skin submissions and waiting to be accepted. Each accepted and listed Skin on the Community NFT Skin shop will reward artists with CTOK — a sales revenue percentage.
